Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi – MAKÜ: A Truly Unforgettable Experience
From the moment I arrived in Burdur, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality by both the staff and students. My three-day stay was a mixture of enriching activities, engaging conversations, and delightful local cuisine—each new flavor was a real delight!
First of all I wanted to thank Professor Ali Karakaş for the warm welcome and for connecting me with an inspiring academic team.
I was thrilled to deliver sessions on the challenges of EFL teaching and to exchange ideas with such passionate educators. The students I had the pleasure of teaching were engaged and contributed significantly to our cultural exchange. I wish them all the best in their future teaching careers!
I’m especially grateful to my former Turkish Erasmus students, who cared for me so kindly and shared their rich culture and traditions with such pride—it made my experience all the more memorable.
Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility is more than just professional development—it’s about cultural exchange, building lifelong connections, and personal growth. Grateful for this amazing journey!
