On the 5th June , Eleanor Kane, Professor in the Faculty of International Relations from the University of Shimane, Japan, came to our university to present a lecture regarding Global Englishes: Connecting Students through Virtual Exchange. The presentation explained how in today’s connected world, students have a variety of different ways to communicate with people from different countries by using English as a shared language. We spoke about language learning, international communication, and new technologies which change the way people connect globally on a daily basis.
Przed wykładem pani prof. Eleanor Kane odbyło się wręczenie certyfikatów uczestnictwa w programie Global Understanding dla grup z filologii angielskiej i marketingu internetowego. Wykład dotyczył ciekawych kulturowych aspektów komunikacji międzynarodowej i wykorzystania języka angielskiego przez ludzi z całego świata kierujących się potrzebą porozumienia i wymiany spostrzeżeń i doświadczeń.
