He spent two years of research scholarship in the USA, where he received the Bachelor of Arts (Alliance College) and Master of Arts (Purdue University) degrees. He was also awarded scholarships in Great Britain, Germany and Denmark. He defended his Master’s and PhD dissertations at the Jagiellonian University. In 2019, the Council of the Faculty of Philology awarded him the degree of Habilitated Doctor and the position of Associate Professor at the Institute of English Studies at the Jagiellonian University.

- From 2008 to 2012 and from 2016 to 2020 – Head of the Department of English at Krosno State College, currently – The Carpathian State College in Krosno,
- From 2012 to 2016 – Chairman of the Committee of Education Quality Assurance at Krosno State College.
